I want my project to be a good project that can entertain and inform you about gangs.  My project has to show how gangs affect the world. I want people to learn a little bit of how gangs communicate with one another, the acts of violence they’re involved in, and how they affect the world   

While doing this project I’ve learned different things about gangs. Three things I’ve learned are, after someone gets jumped in all gang members do the “G thing”. G thing is when all gang members hug one another.  This action is meant to bond the members together as a family. Another thing I learned was when a gang substituted dollar signs for the S's indicates that this gang is selling narcotics. And finally gangs use children because they know that whatever the child under thirteen does, he or she cannot go to jail. 

I choose my project to be about gangs.The reason was because most of my friends  I grew up with became gang members.I would chill with them and do the same things they would do get in fights and in trouble.

 Some background information   

A gang is usually a group of people who spend most  of their time together. They carry out missions  that usually involve violence. Gang members are known by each other  by their nicknames. They are organized with leaders and followers. Gangs usually claim a particular side of a city which they call their “hood”. They spend most of their time fighting rival gangs, using drugs ,and committing crime.
